My Genius device’s touch screen has a delay, what do I do?

If your Genius device has a delay but it is not frozen, you can recalibrate it. If this does not work, contact the Customer Support Team.

To recalibrate the touch screen:

Step 1. From the Genius home screen, press and hold 1, 5, and 9 simultaneously on the keypad for three seconds.

Step 2. Using the keypad type the password, then press Enter (green button). 

Note: The default password is 166832.

Step 3. Navigate to the Touch Panel menu:

  a. Tap the Administration tab.

  b. Tap Tap the Touch Panel tab.

Step 4. To calibrate the touch panel, tap GO. The device displays DONE when complete.

Step 5. In the upper-left corner of the display, tap Home.

Step 6. Tap Run App.
