How do I activate a gift card?
To activate a gift card, you need to add value to it using the activate card function. To do this:
Option 1. Complete the steps in the following video:
Option 2. Complete the following steps:
Step 1. On the toolbar, click Virtual Terminal.
Step 2. From the side menu, click Activate Card.
Step 3. Enter the Card Information:
a. Type the Card Number.
b. (Optional) Use the month and year drop-down menus to select the Expiration Date.
Step 4. Type the Order Information:
a. (Optional) Customer ID.
b. (Optional) Invoice Number.
c. Amount you are adding to the gift card.
d. (Optional) Notes relating to the activation for future reference.
Step 5. Click Activate Gift Card. The Payments Portal confirms the activation was successful.
Step 6. (Optional) Click Email or Print Receipt to send a receipt by email or to print a receipt.
